Due to inclement weather and flooding in some areas, all summer school, dual enrollment classes and After School Program activities, including the athletics strength and conditioning events are cancelled for Wednesday & Thursday.

The district’s second Town Hall Meeting is set for Monday, Nov. 13 at 6:30 PM at the San Benito High School cafeteria with pre-entertainment by Grupo Estudiantina. Attendees will hear about the district’s future projects. There
will also be an opportunity for discussion and feedback. We
encourage you to attend and help us explore options for our
district’s future!

RMS Fundraiser Committee will be hosting Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A Restaurant (at 1814 S. Business 77 & Ed Carey Drive) on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 5PM-8PM. All teachers, staff, students, and community members are invited to participate.
On Spirit Night, show your flyer or digital photo and state you are with Riverside Middle School so the campus receives 20% of all profits made. The money raised will go back to campus activities, club shirts, teacher and student incentives, etc.

All 8th grade students will participate in the PSAT 8/9 Test on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.
The PSAT8/9 test will be used to create a baseline for students in preparing them for college readiness. Many colleges use PSAT scores to offer scholarships and other financial assistance.

Riverside Middle School will be hosting the required annual Title I Meeting for all parents on Wednesday, September 27th at 5PM in the RMS Library. Mr. Luis Gonzales of the Parental Engagement Office will review the needed campus information.
Meet the Teacher Night will take place immediately after the meeting from 5:30PM to 7:00PM. All parents are invited to come meet and talk with campus teachers, administrators, and support staff.
